Listening Beyond the Veil
As long as I can remember, I’ve carried a quiet knowing that there is more to this world than what meets the eye. As a young adult, I was drawn to angels and near-death experiences, searching for meaning beyond the physical. One of the first books that truly opened my awareness was Embraced by the Light by Betty Eadie. At a time before the internet, her story offered a comforting glimpse into what might exist beyond our everyday understanding.
I wasn’t drawn to the darker aspects of the occult, but rather to the light-filled side of the unseen—angels, guides, and the continuation of consciousness. I followed mediums like James Van Praagh and John Edward, finding reassurance and hope in their work and in the idea that love and connection extend beyond this lifetime.
Years later, I attended a local angel meetup that would become a turning point in my journey. During a guided meditation with Archangel Raphael, a strong scent of roses filled the room—an experience I could not explain, yet deeply felt. When the same fragrance followed me home that evening, it felt like undeniable confirmation. Something ancient and familiar had been reawakened within me.
Shortly after, I was attuned to Reiki. What began as curiosity became a powerful period of self-healing and inner expansion. Though I never felt called to practice Reiki hands-on with others, the experience helped clear and strengthen my own energy, laying the foundation for what would come next: the channeling of my artwork.
Through connections with like-minded souls across the world, I began creating intuitive abstract art guided entirely by feeling and inner nudges. Nothing was planned. The paintings seemed to unfold on their own, carrying energy that others could feel and respond to. Over time, these works evolved into energetic transmissions—offering grounding, balance, and alignment to those who connected with them.
Eventually, I felt called to include words alongside the art. After learning to quiet my mind through meditation, I realized I had always been hearing guidance—I simply hadn’t trusted it. Sitting with each completed piece, I began to receive messages that wanted to be shared, pairing visual energy with written or spoken insight. Together, they became activations—gentle reminders at the soul level.
What I’ve come to understand is that this ability isn’t unique. We all have access to guidance beyond the physical when we allow ourselves to trust, soften, and listen. By releasing limiting beliefs and doing our inner work, we create space to hear the wisdom that’s always been present.
If there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s this: the soul always knows the way forward. When we let go of control and follow the quiet pull of the heart, we open ourselves to synchronicity, magic, and outcomes far more beautiful than anything we could have planned.
